Internship agreement for international graduates: in Spain and abroad
Finished your degree and found a company that will take you on as an intern, but it needs an internship agreement? Enrol in one of our 46 online courses (€200, 180 days of access, in English, French or Spanish) and HTL Online Business School signs the internship agreement with that company, usually within 1 working day. Any nationality, any degree, or no degree at all. You learn up-to-date content while you gain experience, and leave with a certificate verifiable by QR code.
Internship in Spain
- What you need: an NIE (foreigner identity number) and a Spanish Social Security number. If you're an EU citizen without an NIE yet, you can enrol first without a company and get both in the meantime.
- Pay: internships with an HTL agreement are paid; the company sets the amount, which can be a cash grant or other benefits such as meal or transport vouchers.
- Insurance: during internships in Spain you are covered by the school's civil liability insurance.
- On a visa? Every case is different: write to us before enrolling at practicas@htlescueladeempresaonline.com and we'll tell you whether we can help.
Internship in another country
In 10 years, more than 7,500 HTL students have done internships with over 2,000 companies: most in Spain, and also around a hundred in France, as well as in Luxembourg, Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Malta and other countries. We can sign our agreement, under Spanish law, or the agreement proposed by the company in its own country. Whether the internship fits local rules is for the company to assess, and the decision to sign is always the company's. Enrolment is open to everyone.
How it works
- Choose the course closest to your internship tasks: business, marketing, finance, technology, hospitality, industry.
- Enrol online with your company, or without one and add it later from your student panel.
- Sign the agreement and annex electronically with the company, usually within 1 working day.
- Study and intern in parallel within the course's 180 days; for longer internships, enrol in a second course.
Common questions
Do I need a degree, or a recognised one?
No. We don't ask for a degree or for degree recognition: enrolment at HTL is enough for the agreement. It's the same for everyone.
Is HTL a university?
No. HTL is a vocational school with its own qualifications, registered in the State Register of Training Entities of Spain's public employment service (SEPE). If a company specifically requires a university agreement, that is its decision.
What language are the courses in?
English, French and Spanish. Choose the one that fits your company, country or market.
How much does it cost?
€200 per course with its agreement, paid by you or the company. Or the subscription (€50/month) for access to all courses, adding the internship module when you have a company.
